We’re officially back for another incredible season of weddings, and what better way to start than with Emma and Jules’ magical day at Highfield Park in Hook. As a Highfield Park wedding photographer, it’s always a treat to shoot at this elegant countryside venue—but pair it with the most glorious weather and a couple as lovely as these two, and you’ve got wedding gold.

A Glorious Day in the Hampshire Countryside

From the moment we arrived, it felt like the skies were celebrating with us. The sunshine was relentless in the best way—there were moments where you genuinely could have mistaken the Hampshire countryside for the hills of Spain. Warm, golden light bathed the historic manor, creating the perfect backdrop for portraits, emotional moments, and plenty of candid joy.

Emma began her day in the beautiful bridal suite upstairs — a serene space filled with natural light, soft textures, and just the right mix of charm and luxury. As a wedding photographer at Highfield Park, I love the thoughtful design of this room. It’s ideal for relaxed morning preparations and emotional first looks. The long mirror in the suite allowed us to capture gorgeous reflection shots—Emma and her loved ones framed beautifully, naturally, and authentically.

A Heartfelt Ceremony with Tie the Knot Hampshire

The ceremony itself was conducted by the brilliant team at @tietheknothampshire. If you’ve ever seen Phil and Jan in action, you’ll know how much love and personality they bring to every wedding. Their warmth, humour, and care in honouring each couple’s unique story is unmatched. It was a joy to document such a heartfelt exchange of vows, with smiles, happy tears, and meaningful glances all around.

And then—it was time to celebrate! Guests lined the confetti route that wove around the front of the hotel, showering the newlyweds in colour and joy. We swiftly moved through the group photographs with laughter, ease, and just the right amount of sparkle. The speeches had the entire room beaming, and the dancefloor? Let’s just say the playlist deserves its own shoutout!

As a Highfield Park wedding photographer, what stood out most wasn’t just the beauty of the location—it was the energy of the day. From start to finish, it was filled with heartfelt moments, meaningful connections, and a real sense of celebration. Emma and Jules radiated happiness, and their guests followed suit.
