While the pandemic changed how weddings happened, it didn’t change how beautiful and picture-perfect they actually are. We’ve seen couples go all out for their wedding decor with exotic flowers or big, statement-making centrepieces. Naomi and Michael, if you are reading this, you are featured in this list of couples too! We loved how despite having a small, intimate wedding, you paid special attention to detail when it came to your decor. Everything was so sublime; it was as if the whole venue was turned into a giant backdrop for the wedding photos. The wedding was all about the natural, fresh and lovely vibes, and that’s what we focused on while taking the couples and family portraits.

Naomi And Michael’s Oakley Court Wedding

Naomi and Michael were married during COVID in 2021. They had a small, intimate wedding of about 20 of their nearest friends and close family at the Oakley Court. It was such a happy day. With blue skies and flowers blooming with the looming medieval castle of Oakley Court casting a shadow in the background, not only was it a beautiful day to get married, but we also got the most gorgeous settings for wedding photography at the venue. It was an unusually hot day, so my priority was to keep the family groups in the shade or out of the sun as much as possible! Creating the family portraits was also one of our favourite bits from the wedding. They were such a fun crew!

Naomi’s bridal dress was one of the most memorable things about the wedding. It was a spectacular designer dress and a classic beauty. It perfectly complemented my bride’s style and made her look like a Disney princess. The ceremony space in Oakley Court was stunning. Whites and greens adorned the orangery; plus, like we said, the flowers that Naomi had chosen enhanced the venue’s beauty. I really enjoyed the ceremony as it was such an incredible space to get married in; particularly with the orangery doors open, it was so refreshing and wonderful!

The bridal portraits were great as the grounds at Oakley Court are spectacular. There are so many interesting backgrounds, and each one deserved a couples portraits to be taken in front of it! One of the blissful moments for us came after the wedding when we took some time to sit on the grass by the river with an iced tea! Oakley Court really transports you to another world. And our couple’s impeccable taste takes all the credit for the fantastic day we had.
