Carol and Andy celebrated their beautiful wedding day at Rivervale Barn, one of Hampshire’s most picturesque barn wedding venues.

With its characterful ceremony space, beautiful courtyard and extensive grounds, Rivervale Barn creates such an easy and relaxed flow throughout a wedding day. From the preparations and ceremony through to the drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening celebrations, everything takes place in one wonderfully welcoming setting.

A Beautiful Rivervale Barn Ceremony

Carol and Andy held their ceremony inside Rivervale Barn, surrounded by their closest family and friends.
The barn provided a warm and intimate setting as Carol walked down the aisle with her son, Ian. After exchanging their vows, the newlyweds stepped outside to celebrate with their guests and enjoy a fantastic confetti moment in the courtyard.
Confetti photographs are always such a joyful part of the day. They are full of movement, laughter and completely natural reactions, making them some of our favourite images to capture.

Wedding Photography at Rivervale Barn

Rivervale Barn offers so many beautiful locations for wedding photographs.
Its gardens, courtyard, rustic architecture and surrounding greenery provide a wonderful variety of backdrops without couples needing to spend long periods away from their guests. This meant Carol and Andy could enjoy some relaxed couple photographs while still making the most of their drinks reception.

We also captured photographs with their families and wedding party, including Carol’s bridesmaids, Andy’s best man and ushers, and the couple’s ring bearers.

Family photographs were especially important to Carol and Andy, and it was lovely to capture so many different generations celebrating together.

Flowers, Styling and Wedding Details

Angel Wedding Flowers created the flowers for the day, adding beautiful detail throughout the venue.
Carol found her wedding dress at Crystal Boutique, while Andy’s menswear was supplied by Anthony Brooks. Their wedding stationery was created by Wedding 2 Print, helping to bring the style of the day together.
The wedding cake was provided by Jeni’s Cakes and Flowers and became another lovely focal point for the evening celebrations.

Speeches and Evening Celebrations

Following the wedding breakfast, guests enjoyed speeches from Carol’s brother, Andy and Andy’s brother Tony, who was also his best man.
The evening celebrations began with the cutting of the cake and Carol and Andy’s first dance. NGB Discos then kept the dance floor busy as everyone celebrated late into the evening.

It was a wonderful day filled with family, laughter and so many special moments.
