Our first June wedding of the year was with the lovely Emily and Anthony. They exchanged vows at St Mary-Le-Moor church in Cadmore End, Buckinghamshire, before heading to Ibstone Common in Ibstone, Bucks for their charming tea party, evening reception, and wedding breakfast.
I first met Emily in 2014 at a Pinewood Studios wedding fair in Heatherden Hall. We had a wonderful chat about wedding plans and life in general, realizing she worked at Heathrow, where I’d likely crossed paths with her before.
An hour later, after laughter and a few tears, she called her hubby-to-be Anthony and booked us on the spot.
Their love story began at the stables, and after years, they finally came together. Their wedding was a celebration of their journey filled with love, life, and laughter.
About the wedding day
The day flew by, from the getting ready moments to meeting the boys at the church. The service was personal, and the addition of doggy ring bearers and a horse at the end added a magical touch.
The marquee at the common was beautifully decorated, reflecting Emily and Anthony’s personalities as they, along with friends and family, took charge of the design.
Memorable moments
There were so many memorable moments – from the laughter on the bouncy castle to the hilarious speeches, especially the best man’s! And the quiet moments during the portraits were simply blissful.
