Megan and Phil were married at one of our all-time favourite venues – Stanlake Park in Twyford – a truly unique vineyard wedding venue nestled in the heart of Berkshire. Known for its rustic charm, stunning grounds, and vineyard views, Stanlake Park is always a dream location for Berkshire wedding photography, and this August celebration was no exception.

The couple wanted a relaxed, festival vibe – and they absolutely nailed it. From the moment we arrived, there was such a happy, sunny atmosphere. It was one of those rare, golden days in the UK summer – not a cloud in the sky, and the heat gave us all a good excuse to keep cool with Victoria’s Ice Cream Cart, which went down a treat with the guests (and the photographers too!).

Megan looked stunning in her gown from Bicester Bridal, and Phil looked equally dapper in his suit from Black Tie Crowthorne. Their ceremony took place in the beautiful Coach House, filled with soft light, laughter and happy tears. After they exchanged vows, everyone poured out into the Courtyard for drinks and ice cream in the sunshine, enjoying live acoustic music and mingling in true festival style.

As their Stanlake Park wedding photographer, one of my favourite parts of the day was their couple portraits. The vineyard offers the most breathtaking light, especially later in the day – so we snuck out during golden hour for some relaxed and romantic shots among the vines. Megan and Phil wanted natural, joy-filled images, and they were an absolute dream to work with.

The family group photos ran seamlessly, thanks to a well-planned list and a brilliant usher team. It meant the couple could get back to enjoying their drinks and hugs in no time at all – just how it should be!

The reception space was beautifully styled with flowers by Seventh Heaven and a gorgeous cake by Celebration Cakes by Catherine Scott. After dinner and speeches, the dancefloor was packed thanks to Nightlight DJ and Event Services, and the fun continued into the night with GM Events’ photobooth adding plenty of giggles.

As a Twyford wedding photographer and a recommended photographer for many local venues, it’s days like this that remind us why we love what we do.
