If a Berkshire countryside venue with verdant gardens, Victorian architecture and castle-like backgrounds are what you want for your dream wedding, the Wasing Park could be an ideal spot for you. Drenched in elegance and grace, this exquisite wedding venue offers luxurious settings for celebrations to its clients. And we’re glad that we got the opportunity to photograph at this idyllic venue when Harriet and Andrew chose to host their wedding at this dreamy location. It was a wonderful day, and shooting at the iconic venue made it even more memorable for us! Besides the location, every other detail at this wedding was so well thought out and designed with such finesse that there was no way we were going to miss documenting any of it. We loved creating all those amazing images and had lots of fun in the process. Seeing our couple so happy and enthusiastic as they celebrated their union amidst the love and support of their close ones was a gratifying experience. It also left us jumping with joy and super excited to bring out the essence of this beautiful celebration in the best way possible through our photography. And the results were classy and stunning images!
Wasing Park Wedding Photography
From the gorgeous wooden welcome board, the seating plan, the order of the day, the menu and tables showcasing custom-made wooden blocks with names on them to the unique metal artefacts, everything at this wedding was set up flawlessly. The floral arrangements were mind-blowing and the lighting indoors was awe-inspiring. Every other arrangement was also perfect as Jaleesa, the wedding coordinator for the day, and Nikki ensured there wasn’t a loose end left on this special day. The whole celebration had fantastic forest vibes, which we enjoyed capturing into memorable photos.
Our bride, Harriet, loves horses so she had her horses’ shoes put up as table decor. The top table was named after the horse – Cruz, which we think was a very thoughtful and sweet way of including her equine friends into her big day. Another lovely thing was the pink colour palette of bridesmaids’ dresses and the beautiful foliage of green and white flowers that made the images look so classy.
It was so special when our bride, Harriet, walked down the aisle. The groom, Andrew, was holding their little one and Harriet just walked towards her son and husband. What a beautiful and heartwarming moment it was! Setting up the confetti was a fun moment too, and one of our faves to photograph. The couple was covered in fresh petals. We also had a wonderful few minutes on the grounds of the castle right in the middle of the sunset. It was so amazing, and we’re absolutely thrilled with the images we created. Honestly, we just fell in love with all the portraits of our couple that we created outdoors. Also, the bouncy castle that our bride and groom ran onto in the evening made for some crazy and fun pictures. Who says you need to be all serious on your big day and can’t jump around like kids having lots of fun (literally)? Not us! It’s something that can make your big day even more special than it already is and help you and your guests create a fun memory that will last a lifetime.
Another highlight of this day was the band. It was absolutely amazing! Miami Vibe 80s Band and their setlist were incredibly full of tunes from the ’80s. It was lovely just to take a minute and look around the dance floor – everyone was enjoying themselves to the fullest! The bride was dancing with friends and the groom was enjoying a drink at the bar, just soaking in the music and the atmosphere around him. The band set a fantastic party mood and we loved documenting it all, bringing out the fun and frolic of those moments through our photos.
Summers Photography For Your Special Moments
Harriet and Andrew, you two are just perfect! And so was your wedding. From the gorgeous dresses and the decorations you two put your hearts into to the lovely music and the spectacular Wasing Park for a venue, everything was top-notch. Photographing your wedding was a pleasure, and we just loved the simplicity of your portraits as you two made everything so easy for us. Your guests were warm and welcoming, and the love and laughter were so contagious. Being treated by you two and the venue to a delicious meal, which is what the guests have, was such a sweet and kind gesture. We are always so appreciative of that! Harriet and Andrew, thank you for this and also for trusting us with your wedding photography. We wish both of you a happy married life together.
