Whether you’re planning a registry office ceremony, a small weekday wedding, or a relaxed celebration with just your closest family and friends — we offer flexible photography that captures everything that matters, without overcomplicating it.
what is short coverage wedding photography?
Short coverage is designed for weddings that don’t need full-day photography.
Instead of documenting every part of the day, we focus on the most meaningful moments — typically your ceremony, key portraits, and those natural interactions just after.
It’s ideal if:
- You’re having a registry office wedding
- You’re planning a micro wedding (typically under 30 guests)
- You want something simple, relaxed, and beautifully documented
- You don’t need bridal prep or evening coverage
How We Approach Your Wedding
We don’t treat short weddings as “smaller jobs”.
The energy, care and attention to detail is exactly the same.
We just focus it more intentionally.

2 Hours Coverage

4 Hours Coverage
with Digital Gallery Online- Partial prep coverage (final touches / getting ready if in same ceremony location)
- Full ceremony coverage
- Arrival moments & guest interactions
- Confetti moment
- Relaxed group photos (unrushed)
- Extended couple portraits (more creative + relaxed)
- Candid moments during drinks / mingling
- Cutting of the cake (we can pose this if you would like to do that before your wedding breakfast)

Every short coverage booking includes:

1 Photographer
Husband and wife team Stephanie & Steve cover the short coverage packages individually. As most of the smaller weddings are usually small in guests attending, it can be overwhelming to have 2 photographers documenting a small group of guests. This is a much more personal way of photographing your day.

A set number of hours coverage
8 hours is our full day photography package; for short coverage sessions we typically recommend either a 2 hour or 4 hour package.

Mark and I chose Summers Photography based on seeing what an amazing job Stephanie and Steve had done at Mark’s sister’s wedding a few years ago. We had a very difficult time on the lead up to our wedding due to Covid-19 restrictions but Steph was so understanding and supportive beforehand which meant we had one less thing to worry about.
On the day, Steph and Steve were both amazing. We couldn’t have asked for better photographers to capture our special day. They were extremely organised and made sure all of the shots we’d asked for were taken with ease and on time.
