Aimee & Wayne’s Windsor Guildhall Wedding

Windsor Guildhall Wedding Photography

If you are in for those vintage vibes, unique settings and antique decor on your wedding day, the Windsor Guildhall in Berkshire could be a perfect venue for you. Aimee and Wayne chose it for their wedding and gave us the opportunity to be their photographer to capture their special moments. We loved documenting this beautiful celebration full of love and happiness, and the images we created turned out to be absolutely amazing. From our radiant bride’s getting ready moments to the fun at the reception, we documented it all into lasting memories and enjoyed the time spent with our couple and their friendly guests while at it. The backdrops, both indoors and outdoors, were totally photo-worthy and helped us make our images stand out. Also, there wasn’t a single dull moment at this wedding. From genuine emotions to contagious laughter, we witnessed it all and captured them on our camera so that our couple and their little daughter, Jessica, who was present at the wedding, can cherish them even years later.

For the wedding, our gorgeous bride, Aimee, wore a tea-length vintage-style wedding dress and even had brilliant converse for her wedding shoes later on. She loves her tattoos and wanted them to be on show and that’s what we kept in mind while taking the photos. Our groom, Wayne, looked dapper in his suit and added a hint of colour to his ensemble by putting on a yellow tie, pocket square and a yellow boutonniere. Their daughter, Jessica, looked so adorable in her cute white dress and bellies.

We loved how Jessica, became the flower girl at the wedding and performed her duties with utmost responsibility (and very cutely too!). She was brilliant and had everyone giggling as she walked about the ceremony wanting her mummy and daddy. We had so much fun photographing this little bundle of joy as she smiled, laughed, jumped around and spread happiness on her parents’ special day. The little girl also wore her mummy’s shoes for photo-ops. The bride wanted a photograph of her baby girl in her shoes for when it is Jessica’s wedding one day. What a beautiful thought and a lovely way to create memories, Aimee! We’re absolutely sure that little Jessica will love to look back at these happy images when she is all grown up!

Our bride’s sister, Amelia, was the bridesmaid and ever so helpful. She was hands-on with organising things at the wedding. Colin, our groom’s best friend and his best man, gave a really funny speech that had the guests in splits. With this, we can totally say that besides our lovely couple, their family and friends were the highlights of this wedding. It was so heartwarming to see how much our couple is loved and supported by their people, and we totally enjoyed bringing out the beautiful bond they share through our photography.

Another exciting thing at this wedding was that since our couple loves vintage and kitsch, they had arranged for a camper van to be present for their big day. It looked so cool and made for an interesting prop and added so much charm to the wedding theme and the couples portraits. We also loved the camper van ride over to the Guildhall, which involved lots of happy chats.

Before the ceremony, the guests had a few drinks at the Prince Harry pub next door to the Windsor Guildhall. Afterwards, they had confetti coming out of the large red double doors of the Guildhall onto the cobbled stones of the Windsor streets. We took photographs in this area before moving over to the reception site and welcomed air con! With our couple’s little girl included in these photos, they became even more special.

The newly-wed couple’s reception venue was just opposite to the ceremony site, so it was quite easy for everyone to move from one point to the other when the ceremony was over. It was a short wedding coverage for us – only four hours and that included the getting ready, ceremony, lovely groups outside the Guildhall and, then, over to the hotel reception. Though it was not a very long coverage, the fun we had wasn’t any less. As photographers we’d say, these were some sweet and enjoyable work hours we had and got stunning photos too!
